Fanart: KuroFai Steampunk

Okay, redesign for Kurogane's steampunk arm -- a very small, surprisingly strong steam engine is now hidden inside his arm. I didn't even know so small steam engines existed, until I needed one! *g* Also the three holes on his upper arms are spitting steam, if he's working hard. Of course, he's always working hard, so lots of steam down there.



Because I'm shameless, I nudged Uakari to write fic for this -- and she did!! *dies happily* It's called Steam and right over at her journal! Go read it, Uakari's writing is to the point and beautiful, the story has a well spun plotline and it's even going to be multi-chaptered...!!

Uesh, this is so gorgeous - I'm so impressed by the way you colored it. What did you use? I'm loving the jewelry in Fai's hair, the way his bangs tuck back and his expression.

I used Corel Painter Essentials 3 for the whole thing. I'm doing digital art, only, at the moment. :3
