I just got Manga Studio Debut 4 delivered home *mad scream of joy* only to find out that it can't open the story files I had created in Manga Studio EX demo 4, before... WHY, MANGA STUDIO, WHY!? ;______________;

...alas, this only means that I'm going to rework those pages from the start, WHICH I WANTED TO DO, ANYWAY.

*kicks manga studio for being a bitch and sets to work*



LOOK AT WHAT I DID! I just used screentones for the very first time! :D I also discovered that there are preinstalled sparkles, cherry blossoms, and kitty patterns. OMG.

I like the black-and-white manga style, and the patterns! (is that what you called "screentones"? Like the foils that you can use to trace patterns etc?)

Need to practise creases and light-and-shadow... In your pictures, it always looks so easy :D Starting next week, I´ll have more time to do that *counting the minutes*

Yus, the patterns are called screentones - I have dots in tons of sizes and with different spacing, speed lines, bunnies, kimono patterns, sparkles... I love this thing. *squeals like an idiot* ♥

Shadows from a single lightsource ARE easy! Not that I was great at it but it works well enough. After practicing for a few months, it comes naturally! *cheering for you* \o/
