True story behind the pepper/salt shaker: Fai needed something round without a handle, and throwing cookies/blocking attacks with a slice of toast/flying on a saucer was hard to fit in with the other guys. XD

I KNOW, COOKIE!SHURIKEN WERE MY FAVORITES! But Fai's tiny arms were too short for the enormous cookies and there was no room to give them room to fly in the composition. MAYBE NEXT TIME. XD

Oh, Okami is a video game, but the scenery and characters of the game are based of Ukiyo art, so it makes sense that children's books would also depict that style. Anyway, what's not to love about Syaoran's Oni bellybutton?

Syaoran is probably the most adorable thing I've ever seen. Ever. His little round belly and his mouth wide open and the EGG BEATER is all just so damn cute. Seriously, if I'm ever watching/reading TRC again, and I get to a part where Syaoran goes all epically badass with a flaming sword... I'm just going to laugh. Because my mind is going to superimpose an eggbeater over his sword.

They should do battle with a mouse!
