Okay, redesign for Kurogane's steampunk arm -- a very small, surprisingly strong steam engine is now hidden inside his arm. I didn't even know so small steam engines existed, until I needed one! *g* Also the three holes on his upper arms are spitting steam, if he's working hard. Of course, he's always working hard, so lots of steam down there.



Because I'm shameless, I nudged Uakari to write fic for this -- and she did!! *dies happily* It's called Steam and right over at her journal! Go read it, Uakari's writing is to the point and beautiful, the story has a well spun plotline and it's even going to be multi-chaptered...!!

I usually hate dreadlocks in artwork, but yours is A+

Thank you for doing them right! And god, do I ever love your coloring in this piece. It's soft and cross-hatchy and nnnnng. Not to mention you steam-punked them all up and in-character. I could actually see those two like this as opposed to simply dropping by some world for a quick trip. :)

I actually really love AUs, in the sense of them truly living in another world and getting involved with a different culture... so, yeah, I'm glad I got the dreads right! XD
