Guys, guys, I need some help!

I need some new show to watch, so that I'm in a less dark mood! Has anyone any recommendations? What do YOU like to watch? I'll take almost any genre, though I'd have live action rather than anime, and something with a plot rather than pure comedy.

Terra Nova...wasn't bad, wasn't all DIRE AND GRIM and made me want to write dinosaur fics. XD But I cant say it was light hearted either.

....it sounds like most of the shows I watch aren't very happy. Huh.

Oh. The Mentalist. XD Now that one has a lot of funny bits in it... hehe.

Perhaps Monk or Pushing Daisies?

Monk had 8 seasons, but Pushing Daisies only had two thirteen-episode seasons, so it's an easy watch. (Both are comedy/mystery shows)
