WHOA - I love love love the last tidbit with Youou and his mother. :D

Ahem, this was a fantastic chapter. The tension was very thick and I could feel the anger and pain and resentment on Kurogane's part for ending up aiding the dragon that destroyed his torus. Everything from the ways of the dragon tribes to the action scenes to the surgical procedures to the poor kids who's doing their best to the interesting comfort sex in bed was awesome.

I just think the mix of sci-fi and fantasy-esque stuff is epic overall.
